While you may be hearing the name Béla Ferenc Dezső Blaskó for the first time, you may recognize his stage name: Bela Lugosi. Lugosi was a Hungarian actor who rose to become a horror icon after portraying the titular character in the 1931 film, Dracula. He went on to star in a number of other classic horror films, including The Black Cat, The Raven, and Son of Frankenstein. However, it’s fair to say that his biggest claim to fame was portraying Bram Stoker’s legendary Count. In honor of the 63 year anniversary of Lugosi’s death, we’re celebrating his role in film history by taking a look at 15 of the best Dracula tattoos. Take a look at the best tattoos inspired by the 1931 film in the gallery below and let us know your thoughts on this story in the comments section.
